Final Portfolio

During the entire duration of the semester, after each project was finished we had to keep them somewhere so we would be able to easily pull them later. We were tasked to create a portfolio of all of our projects for the semester using Adobe InDesign. I chose to be geometric about it as I love control and order, which is why I used perfect shapes that were symmetrical and had sharp edges. I even utilized a grid as a baseline for where I would place everything on every page. This was the final project of the class, and I've added images of the portfolio below! Loud Entertainment Co. Logo Design

For the past few weeks we have been learning how to use Illustrator and the different tools we can use to create effective designs. Ultimately, the goal was to use the knowledge we gained to create a logo. In addition, before starting the project we had to write down 5 words that describe who we are. My words were confident, loud, friendly, responsible, and trustworthy. Using those 5 words, we had to create sketches of possible logos, choose the best one to make in Illustrator, use it to create business cards, and apply the design on 3 3-D objects. I ended up choosing the word "loud" for my design. My process is shown below!

Friday Night Frights Poster Design

Using Adobe Illustrator, we were tasked with creating a poster with a message using an original photo of ourselves. For my poster I had a completely different idea when first going into it where I wanted to make a poster based on mental health and raise awareness. After looking at the uploaded black and white version of the photo in Illustrator I decided to go in a completely different direction and make a horror movie poster (given it was Halloween). Below is my original photo along with the finished poster. I hope you like it and Happy (very) late Halloween!
